This was an exercise in video game pipeline hard surface/prop work. The mission was to take an established 3D concept (Jerry Perkins) and turn it into an in-game asset.
Here is the pipeline I used:
  • Modo: low poly modeling and UVs
  • ZBrush: hi poly breakdown and Mat ID setup
  • Marmoset Toolbag 3: baking
  • Substance Painter - texturing
  • MTB3 & Painter: rendering

Stats:
  • 2 texture sets @ 2048
  • 5424 Polys / 9828 Tris
  • Metal / Rough PBR
